Samsung NC10 Netbook 10.2-inch review (1.6GHz Intel Atom N270, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Windows XP Home, Black) is (Electronics) have this computer, I have quadcore desktop processor at 2.4 GHz and 3GB RAM so I used to fast high performance computer and I had a new laptop to take with me when I go away, but I was worried about the Atom processor and 1GB of RAM Intel would not provide enough power for my needs, but I assure you great room is a standard computer user.
Samsung NC10 Netbook Review 10.2-inch (1.6GHz Intel Atom N270, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Windows XP Home, Black) is (Electronics) this netbook but a great travel companion. "It is a screen (9 I personally find" the 10 and the 8 "is too small) and the keyboard is almost complete must. The key issue is changing the right key, but after using it for about 2 hours I got used it and use the FN key (to press home, end, and other keys) .
The battery life is great, I used it for a while 'more than 2 hours and the battery was more than 50% cut.

One weakness is that the amount of the very large touch pad, but because the keyboard uses the most space. Another problem is the single rocker button, so do not you press both buttons at the same time.

    The Other positive points:
    - The built in camera good enough.
    - Very quiet.
Samsung NC10 Netbook Review 10.2-inch (1.6GHz Intel Atom N270, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Windows XP Home, Black) (Electronics) I found this a few days ago, and set it up yesterday. Set up was very easy, even for non-Technohead. Takes you through the configuration so clearly. Do not expect a paper manual while - a short booklet that pretty much tells you how to require the power cord and turn it on. The system directs the user through the basic installation screen (Note: when asked what type of keyboard you have, select the United Kingdom - understanding of the United States as the default, but will not you find the symbol "@ "). Electronic manual on your desk that are worth taking a look at a certain point, even if it is not required to start. Wireless Internet connection in my house it was easy (when I remembered where I stored the websites).

It comes with Windows XP, Internet Exporer, Media Player and PDF pre-installed. Even 3-month license for McAfee anti-virus (if you want to install other antivirus such as Kaspersky, be sure to uninstall McAfee first to avoid conflicts). Then you are ready to roll with the Internet, playing music / movie, PDF reading. However, if you want to do Word, Excel, etc. you need to buy MS Office (if you have not done already).

When set, it does back up the initial configuration so that you can always (if severe) in place back to its original state. It also downloaded some updates for Windows and it is recommended to download Internet Explorer 7, which I did. I think it's a shame that was not preinstalled, but the upgrade was pretty easy.

Even if you can find the power of high-spec laptop in there, it seems much more than keep up with my laptop Acer 3 years old - and much smaller package.

As long as you do not want to do a lot of processor hungry applications (such as serious games or video editing can not fight) that should fit the bill nicely. I got this primarily as a very portable laptop to do some 'fast web browsing and also for reading PDF files and taking notes, handles well.
