I can see where the SIM card slot behind the battery to be - a slot-type gap covered with a piece of rubber, is absolutely not working slot. I read in one of the reviews are just the work slots for the Asian version. It is not in the manual and no software to serve in the package for the UK version. 'He really embarrassed, to be the perfect netbook!

If the SIM card module is really important to you then you should probably go for the Advent 4213 (MSI Wind rebadged) for about 40-50 pounds more specific and similar (but reviewed by Pocket lint.co. uk was discovered that the keyboard and display 'small and poor battery life is around 3 hours - I do not know if it is 3 - or 6-cell). The machine is ideal for surfing the net, but also deals with MS Office 2007 and also in consideration of the specification. I was going to make MS work on it, but it is not necessary.

Not as fast as Core Dual Core / Dual 2 but it works hand in hand with my Pentium 4 desktop around. Initial testing is fast enough to McAfee antivirus installed and it is just a breeze to use.

As noted previously that the mouse pad is a 'little time-consuming especially together with the iPhone kind of zoom function, but that is really a minor niggle.

Picks up much better points than my laptop wireless and it is as fast as you want on the Internet ..at least as fast as my laptop (Dual Core), mainly due to the increase in I 2 GB RAM (very simple and cheap to make - the memory cover back and it is written to memory complete instructions on how to pop a new module and 'in the manuals).

The screen is big enough to work for a few hours and excellent keyboard for the machine in a small amount.

Ample space on the 160GB hard drive for a wide selection of my photographs and music.

The screen, however, be the best I've seen on a netbook.

What can I say ..funky fun, does the job ..but would recommend purchasing a reasonable case as this is parred down the screen is not very well protected from the outside (or are in the netbook I've seen) and can be twisted easily and can , if not since little TLC damage. I have a box with neoprene layer of cardboard to protect it.
It starts from cold in about 30 seconds and grabs the wire atomatically when the first source chosen when you start up. (Just like my Mini from Apple). 'It is too good to be back in Widows XP. I cheated a little 'and bought a slim portable DVD burner Liteon go with. It combines perfectly with the NC10 but through USB. The network Liteon also narrow your hard lightscribe those jobs.
