This was purchased mainly for large hdd. It is not publicized as a scam from Amazon or from Asus,
It's not just 500GB 450GB. Who is to blame? Amazon should check the ad, but Asus specifications

White (Personal Computers) of VX6 nice little laptop, - Reviews of VX6 Netbook 'Lamborghini' Asus 12.1-inch (D525 Intel Atom 1.8GHz, 2GB, 500GB, WLAN, BT, Webcam, Windows 7 Home Premium) just 'a Sony Vao litle I have had many years ago, but at a fraction of the price. The keyboard is large and the screen is bright enought for most uses, except outside in full sun. Atom process is, however, a little 'slow. The need VX6 2GB RAM upgrade (about $ 25) in conjunction with the apparatus 2 GB. No information in the product manual to tell you how, but simply unscrew the lid down and put in another 2 GB SO-DIMM. The logo above is a little disappointing as it would be sooo nice metal was embedded in plastic.

For the battery life is pretty good in about four hours. However, it took me several days just to download and install all updates of Windows 7. You would have thought that someone could be made to the customer. Other complaints. The hard drive is not accessible without taking over everything, which invalidates the warranty. However, a disc of 500 GB, this is not much of a problem.

Overall I really like the machine. Because a pretty good netbook. As a laptop, it is easily outclassed by the processor and graphics performance by machines at similar prices, but in a form factor much more. The 1215 on ASUS netbook is very similar, but without the pleasant style of VX6. However, the relatively small difference in price, I would rather have the VX6.
