This is a distinction between this netbook from the competition. The screen is excellent, clear and crisp and even better with higher resolution.

It comes loaded with Windows 7 boot. Say many people are up to date must, but I find the windows a good start. Really, unless you can not live without changing your desktop wallpaper or windows media center, start-up is fine.

The keyboard as well as any neighbor with full size keys and a light touch.

Trackpad button is a great feeling dull and great fun.

And a 'no problems at all and immediately picked up my wifi.

Now the problem! The universal problem with netbooks that I think partly because of claims that the windows boot only ships with 1GB of RAM installed Microsoft.

1 GB RAM is not enough. CPU assumes that you only 256MB graphics 744mb usable. The first thing you need to upgrade the RAM to 2GB, then everything runs much smoother.

The update requires the keyboard be removed but not discouraged, but only 5 clips. There are some great videos on youtube showing how to do, but a must. If the unit comes with 2GB RAM would have 5 stars.

10600S DDR3 RAM (1066 MHz) is limited to a maximum of 4 GB from one bank. However, cuts to the preinstalled Windows 7 boot to usable capacity of 2 GB. This restriction disappears when other version installed. Upgrade I to 2GB, which makes it run much smoother. RAM upgrade is a bit 'hard as the keyboard must to get to the screws to take back out. You can get instructions from You tube - but be careful that you follow the instructions to use the keyboard to prevent damage:

1 / 5 buttons over the keyboard clips ESC, F4, F8, and F12. Use a small screwdriver to scroll up and must stay
2 / remove the battery and you will see a 4 mm × 4 mm square hole - using a tool that blunt, metal (to avoid damage to the underside of the keyboard) to get this forum to push the keyboard up (I use the top plastic BIC pen). You can then turn the laptop over and use your fingers to pull the rest of the keyboard out.
ACER has a consistent manner as a brand new confidence and, tick "new generation" netbooks all my boxes, as well as to welcome the addition to the HDMI input, but competitive retail price.
