I suspect that perhaps everything is recorded in high definition to be too slick on display, but this is not a problem for us.
I loaded Microsoft Security Essentials and has proven very effective, but "light source" free security suite. Windows 7 Start Edition is strong, and we almost always wake the device from sleep mode (which takes about 10 seconds), rather than shut down and restart. But artificial disappointment to date "feature" of Windows 7 started, that no one can change desktop image. I have not tried yet (not mean) in Android.
The machine is well designed with lots of connectivity, nice bright screen and keyboard sound. The 6-cell battery a lot of life (> 6 hours). We also bought the matching lime green mouse, like my daughter, she thought the trackpad works fine.
All in all discretion is very good, and 2 months, I am very happy with the choice we made.
Surf the web, check email, watch TV, store photos I love my little Acer ..My laptop is Acer and I have never had a problem with.
