Review of Samsung N145 Plus 10.1-inch Netbook (Intel Atom N450 1.66 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 250 GB HDD, WiFi, Webcam, Win 7 boot) - Black (Personal Computers) I was looking to replace my desktop computer that I could do anywhere, but I have yet to computer functionality. I need a Windows machine is a Tablet / things Android.

After much research I chose the netbook, bought from Amazon. I also bought instead of memory (2 GB for 1 GB).

With 2GB of memory, the machine is everything I wanted and more. The screen resolution is higher than most netbooks in the range of prices (1366 x 768 vs 1024 x 600). And 'as quickly as I need, lightweight and easily transportable. Keyboard is good and there are plenty of connections available when it is sitting on my desk connected to a monitor and mouse etc.

The great machine at a great price. Buy it and not be disappointed.

Some good, some bad - as expected. I wanted to easily transportable machine for viewing documents and prepare a basic document management program - word processing, spreadsheets and some DTP.
In the end I decided on the Samsung N145.
And was' very early (beating the memory upgrade that I ordered at the same time).
Out of the box office, and turn faster. The process to complete the installation was simple. Then I connected my mobile broadband dongle - when the installation was straight forward and I was on the Internet.
My first thought was "this is a bit 'slow'. Web pages are sometimes reluctant to load. After a while, 'I realized it was due to upgrade to Windows 7. Had done everything When the updates were fine.
I used the N145 for about a month and I'm happy. The only real downpoint its speakers. First, I noticed the sound is very rough. This was cured by disabling the 'Panel of SRS Premium Sound'. This program seeks to improve the sound, but it seems that rather than destroy it - probably too much a drain on the processor.
